TV Series Proposal: Star Wars Sandcrawler

You know that shot-up sandcrawler from A New Hope? Well not all of the robots were shot up (some of the stormtroopers missed them hurr). The few survivors fix up the sandcrawler and any other robots as best as they can and set out into the desert looking for spare parts, their previous owners, or to flee as long as they can. The first episode would have them discover a discarded protocol droid on the edge of a human settlement. This robot would be the only main character that can speak english. Everything else would be a series of squeaks, beeps, clanking grunts, or whistles. And in lieu of the previous manner in which this was situation was dealt with, the protocol droid will not repeat what was told to him. For example:

"Beeple woop squoonk zoop."
"Oh."
"Blooort twoodle donk."
"Was she pretty?"
"Bweeoo donk tweee!"
"Every day?"
"Dwooo."
"Oh my."

The captain would be a GONK droid.
